San Francisco Blues Band leader

The leader of the band began to play the harmonica in 1982 while traveling around the world on a cruise ship. In 1983, he was the proverbial “white kid from the suburbs” who went into the blues clubs in Oakland looking for an opportunity to play. He met Oakland-based harmonica player Birdlegg then and quickly became his protégé. Birdlegg’s lesson? “No matter what, always play with feeling.” He formed this San Francisco Blues Band in 2002 and has played at a number of Bay Area events like the Half Moon Bay Pumpkin Festival, Walnut Creek Art & Wine Festival and at many local blues clubs.
