Miami Big Band 1
This Miami Big Band's musical director received his Bachelor and Master Degree’s in Music from the University of Miami. They originated in 1987 with the director's ex partner and musical friend who is now with Gloria Estefan and Blood Sweat and Tears. The band started playing Concerts at Monte Trainer’s Club in Coconut Grove Florida. Since that point he assembled the top jazz players in the South Florida Area.
Miami Big Band members
The director continued to develop this Miami Big Band into a high energy band performing a variety of Big Band arrangements with female and Male Jazz Vocalists. Many of the bands Members are alumni of such great bands as Woody Herman, Stan Kenton, Buddy Rich and Count Basie bands. The band has performed with Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra Jr., Kathie Lee Gifford, Vic Damone, and Mel Torme.
Miami Big Band performances
This Miami Big Band continues to perform for Corporate Events, Charity Fund Raisers, and notable social events such as special parties for Donald Trump. The band is available in Florida and Nationwide for Bookings. The Band has been noted on local Jazz Radio as the most in demand Big Band in South Florida.
