Seattle Blues Band 4

The guitarist of this Seattle Blues Band has been playing guitar since 1974. He is influenced by some of his hero’s growing up such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Robin Trower and Billy Gibbons. His voice is a cross between Billy Gibbons and Johnny Winter. All these influences can be heard in his music. The female leader singer always loved to sing. She was influenced by the likes of Tina Turner and Janis Joplin, She has that deep throaty female voice so many love.

He met her while playing a small cafe in a duo called “Lizzardz” where she worked as a bartender. Upon hearing her sing “Simply the best” by Tina Turner one night at karaoke, He was completely floored (and attempted to recover his jaw which had fallen below his beard) it was only a matter of time before he asked her to join him as his singer.

Seattle Blues Band live

It’s now been three years together and the two members of this Seattle Blues Band have spent a lot of time playing live and working together both in and out of his studio. Their original music can be found just by searching their name online and they cover a variety of standard blues influenced rock tunes. The fun they have together on stage is easy to see and they love performing live.

The guitarist views their musical mix as something he always wanted to hear when he was young. Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix together. So ok, "no one can play like Hendrix" says the guitarist but that's what he hears when he hears her sing. She is a great fan of Robin Trower and Billy Gibbons and that's what she hears when she hears him play.... So.... onward and upward.

Seattle Blues Band belief

They both believe their sound together can stand toe to toe with anyone. In the studio the guitarist also play the bass and drums, records this Seattle Blues Band and creates the backing tracks. Live, he plays guitar and sings and she provides those smokey female vocals.

Here's hoping you agree this is one special sound.
