Being an original Rock band takes guts, sometimes it takes striking out on your own. You may ruffle some feathers but it's worth being an individual. The music of Nikko & The Night Shift is meant to convey that feeling - that his listener will hear their own stirring spirit.

Nikko & The Night Shift has performed on many stages in Washington State including Seattle Hempfest, Capitol Hill Block Party, Taste of Tacoma, Jazzbones, Spanish Ballroom, Capitol Lakefair, Live at London Bridge Studios, Olympia's Music in the Park, Bite of Seattle, Seafair Olympia, The Crocodile Lounge, Victory Hall Seattle, The Nectar Lounge, Tenino Music Festival -- to name a few notable Northwest venues/stages. Their performances are all unique and carry energy and excitement.

Though the leader of Nikko & The Night Shift has led several bands, his latest group is his official backing band. If you see him live - you'll most likely meet them, self-dubbed: "The Night Shift." Their lineup consists of local legend Hans Salnave on the Bass, Kesler Blair on the Drums, Marcus Sebastian on the Saxophone, and Frank Pisciotti on the keys.

Nikko & The Night Shift project

The latest offering of the leader of Nikko & The Night Shift Interstellar is a 6-song EP recorded at his own studio in which he played every instrument (well almost, Marcus played the saxophone on Stay Clear). This was a challenge he wanted to take on after the disbandment of his last project. He has to admit though it turned out brilliant and it was a new experiment of music for him. It really shows on Still Hear It Calling and the title track, Interstellar.

For the 2024 Season Nikko & The Night Shift will be out touring the Northwest with many exciting shows - you can also catch Nikko watching a good deal of his great friends' performances, usually in which he ends up getting wrangled on stage to play guitar because why not!? Good to have a great scene of musicians who have fun!
