The leader of this Miami Caribbean Band was born to play the acoustic guitar, his critics will no doubt attest to it. His dexterity in his flamenco playing style epitomizes his unique sound, which is recognizable in any orientation he chooses to engage.

Born in Port-Au-Prince on February 8th, 1959, he was introduced to music at a very early age when his father who played the classical flute on family gatherings and Mom Lucette singing folk songs complementing the seance.

After tragically losing both parents at the age of 6, the leader of this Miami Caribbean Band started learning how to play the acoustic guitar by basically self teaching himself, his love and attraction for classical Spanish music was obvious. About 10 years later, he was already a local star by playing in all the college events and gatherings. His maturity in music brought a new vision to his melodic trend establishing a risky but respected style, in a country that traditionally perceives changes with apprehension and considers it to be a peril.

In 1996, always influenced by the flamenco music, he had the ingenious idea to mix it with the traditional troubadour rhythm of his country creating what he loves to call Tropical Flamenco He then founded a band by inviting another guitar player to join him, and later added other musicians. His Miami Caribbean Band quickly became one of the most famous bands around.

A few months later, this artist and his Miami Caribbean Band released their first CD who became an instant hit and at the same time started an international career in Japan where they brilliantly delivered 7 concerts in various cities including Tokyo. After 10 years performing locally and around the world, he is once again with his group getting ready to release his 5th CD which will be on the market probably for the summer.

The leader of this Miami Caribbean Band's vision and versatility helped him explore other tendencies in music while never forgetting where he came from, always inspired by many, but one guitar player in particular who captured his admiration for the tremendous ability displayed with the guitar, Paco de Lucia.
