San Francisco Celtic Band members
Hailing from Norway, the founding member and the lead singer/electric mandolinist of this San Francisco Celtic Band is recognized as a driving force in the modern folk-rock movement. The fiddler, a favorite with the fans, is the original fiddler for the group. The bassist, a native Californian, is also an accomplished drummer and didgeridoo player who may occasionally breathe fire. Native of Devon, England, and a former member of the UK's folk-rock band Equation, the guitarist combines a deep-rooted British folk sensibility with a life-long rock experience. The Cuban-born drummer, an original band's member, colors the band's sound with inventive percussion.
This San Francisco Celtic Band's releases are acclaimed worldwide. The group's latest studio CD finds the band in peak form as it showcases inventive original and traditional material.

They are busting out of a two years' pandemic-enforced hiatus from extensive touring with a new, powerful release. "Going Home" is the band's first studio album of new material in four years, and one of this San Francisco Celtic Band best to date!
