The state of Indiana has discovered a diamond in the rough with the gorgeous and multi-talented Los Angeles Country Americana Singer. Signed to Howard Management, the sassy, singer songwriter originally hails from the coal mining town of Linton, but now calls the glitzy city of Los Angeles her home. She is a fresh face on the scene, but she’s an old soul that’s reminiscent of Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn. Country Americana’s new golden girl has a swag that’s definitely on the fast-track to stardom.

She is a true country girl that grew up in a small town of less than 6,000. She started singing as a toddler, and is the middle sister of two brothers. This Los Angeles Country Americana Singer is the little darling of the clan that performed in church, school choirs and children’s musical theatre. Growing up, aside from listening to her idols Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton, she was a fan of Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton, and Bad Company.

She began songwriting at 12, where she penned her first ballad inspired by a boy crush. Other award-winning lyricists such as Parton, and the phenomenal musical arrangements found in Fleetwood Mac’s music prompted this Los Angeles Country Americana Singer to further pursue songwriting and performing. While attending Linton Stockton High School, she performed in the musicals Grease, Pajama Game and Sound of Music.

After graduating high school, this Los Angeles Country Americana Singer was still enticed by the performing arts bug and moved to Tallahassee, Florida, to study Musical Theater at Florida State University. While there, she wrote, collaborated and performed with numerous college and professional musicians before thousands in major venues. In 2002, she headed west to the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles to follow her dreams of making it big in the music world. When she arrived in L.A., she was more determined than ever to write and record the heartfelt songs buried within her country bones. She added the bluegrass styles of Alison Krauss and the bluesy vibe of Carter’s Chordto her music library. The aspiring vocalist took voice lessons with top coaches then set out to make her mark in Hollywood.

In 2006, this Los Angeles Country Americana Singer landed on an episode of NBC’s Megan Mullally Show, a daytime talk show. It was during the holiday season, and she dazzled the audience with her mesmerizing rendition of “Silent Night,” and won the singing competition for that day! Following that rousing debut, she saddled up and pitched gigs all over Southern California, opening up for Country Western greats such as Hal Kechum, Big Kenny (Big & Rich), Kinky Friedman and The Grascals.

She is generating a buzz with more than 1 million plays on her repertoire of the five songs featured on her MySpace play list.

The title mid-tempo single, “Wild Flowers,” is the most popular of the play list tracks. Co-written by this artist, Orange County native Billy Alexander masterfully sets the music arrangement, and Peter Amato (writer/producer for LeeAnn Rimes) of New Orleans joins in to brilliantly complete the vocal arrangement and mix the title track. “Wild Flowers” combines the wicked, guitar twangs of Country Americana with a hint of Southern attitude. Cool, classic rock grooves echo during the breakdown of this smash. This track is currently played in rotation on the Midwest radio station's The Bullet and Hi-99 FM.

In the ballad, “Slow” this Los Angeles Country Americana Singer co-writes with Nashville native, Nathan Barlowe from the popular group, The Honeymoon Thrillers. In this effort, she says her experience with Barlowe opened her eyes to various types of melodies, and the concept that a love song doesn’t have to be cheesy. This moving track features relatable lyrics, which finds a woman at a crossroads with a man who’s moving too quickly. Of the track she says, “I just want to remind couples to enjoy the moment and not chase toward the end.” In the end, “Slow” is just that, a deep ballad that rocks your soul!

“Looks Like Love” is a catchy upbeat tune co-written with the dynamic writer/producer/singer Gerry Stober who’s credits include penning for Grammy, Dove, and Juno award-winning artists. The L.A. songwriter joined forces with this Los Angeles Country Americana Singer and another Nashville powerhouse writer, Kris Bergsnes. Inspiration for this tune came from the legendary songwriter Bergsnes, while mega-producer Stober developed an enchanting melody that as she puts it, “turned into a funky pop song with a country twist!”

The unforgettable track, “How Far,” is co-written with Amato and Australian singer songwriter-turned L.A. transplant Karen Eden. Produced by Amato, the tune about a woman who no longer gets her way in a relationship. This ballad is a lyrical goldmine. Haunting melodies lure you in, while this Los Angeles Country Americana Singer's poignant vocals dance along the melodies. Her voice is real, and you feel her passion and vulnerability throughout this track.

“Here’s To My Mistakes” is another gem that showcases her beautiful voice that's magically penned by Matthew Gerard, Kevin Fisher and Peter Amato. Amato produced this poignant track, and this Los Angeles Country Americana Singer says she fell in love with the melody and attitude of the girl in the song. Thus, you have an Old School country tune a.k.a. Loretta Lynn-style, where she is remorseful in this teary-eyed ballad. Her sultry voice burns over this evocative smash.

In September 2010, this Los Angeles Country Americana Singer made returned home to debut at the Linton Music Festival. She performed before a sold-out crowd! Festival-goers, some of whom traveled from across the state, cheerfully welcomed their hometown sweetheart. Needless to say, she will return this fall.

With looks that kill, this Los Angeles Country Americana Singer is also expanding her visibility onscreen. She’s an aspiring actress, who’s appeared in a few TV shows such as ER and CSI: Miami. She was also featured in the Adam Sandler movie, You Don’t Mess With the Zohan. Her cameo in Sandler’s comedy was in the party scene, where Sandler flirts with this beautiful blonde who grabs him after he deejays at the club. Recently, she signed with the Bobby Ball Agency for modeling.

This Los Angeles Country Americana Singer, an extremely sought-after singer songwriter, is married to her bassist and tour manager. The burgeoning megastar holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and public relations from California State University Northridge.
