At 14 years of age, she entered a "Seventeen" magazine contest for resembling the famous actress. She won and was flown to New York for a makeover and photo shoot to be featured in the April 2001 issue of the popular magazine.

After returning to her home town, this Julia Roberts Impersonator was interviewed by local news stations and shortly thereafter, modeling and event agencies started to contact her. Her first Julia gig was in Cripple Creek, Colorado at the Double Creek Casino for their 11th anniversary. With a gold "Ocean's 11" ensemble packed, she arrived to meet her new friends, a "Brad" and "George" lookalike, whom she would be working with a lot!
