This Italian Singer and Accordionist based in Chicago performs Italian and American standards for audiences around the globe. He has also released a CD, an accordion and vocal tribute to Frank Sinatra.
This performer started his musical career at the age of seven, having studied under the direction of Vince Geraci and Joe Deluca. He also studied Accordion in Italy. Son of Italian immigrants, he reflected upon a culture of which music was part of the fabric and spirit.
As part of his performance, this accordionist combines a classic accordion sound with MIDI technology to create a "one man orchestral effect". He has appeared in numerous Italian festivals, concerts, commercials and other venues and before politicians and other celebrities. He has film credits and worked with entertainers Al Martino and Henry Mancini. This artist sings "Sinatra" with emotion and conviction, and audience participation is expected during his renditions of the Tarantellas and other accordion classics.
The CD tribute to Frank Sinatra was released in 2003. It contains versions of 19 of Sinatra's most famous songs with accordion and vocals. The CD has special meaning to this artist, a performer who has spent most of his life playing Sinatra's music. The other performer in the duo started his career in Montecatini Terme, Tuscany at the age of 10 performing at the famous nightclubs of Cafe Concerto Gambrinos and Kursal. He had performed with the late Maestro Mauro Casini in the U.S. and Italy. In 2000, he was awarded the Gold Medal by the Camera Di Commercio and the Lucchesi nel Mondo in Lucca , Italy. T To date his albums, all recorded in Milan, Italy have brought worldwide acclaim.
Together from their home in Chicago, these two musicians have performed extensively in the U.S. and Italy. Performing before thousands at Milwaukee's Italian Fest to New York and California they have thrilled their audiences.
