The Jazzlanders
The Jazzlanders is a fun, world class, professional band that was founded by Berklee's professors, who have been performing and recording with the giants of the music industry, such as Tony Bennett, James Moody, Cassandra Wilson, Steve Gadd, Abraham Laboriel, Terri Lyne Carringron, Greg Osby, Marcus Miller, Artie Shaw just to name a few! In April 2011, its members recorded an album with the Two Grammy Winner, latin/jazz star Dave Samuels. They specialize in a variety of jazz music from timeless swing, bossa nova and samba standards (Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Diana Krall, Antonio Carlos Jobim) to latin/jazz, smooth jazz, blues and more.
The core of The Jazzlanders is piano, bass and drums. You can add any combination of instruments to the band, from a solo piano to a ten piece band of your choice: vocalist, piano, bass, drums, guitar, sax, trumpet, percussion or another instrument. They can play soft background jazz or upbeat groovy, high energy music.
The Jazzlanders is perfect for cocktail receptions, private casual or high-end corporate events, anniversaries, weddings, ceremonies, birthday parties and other events.
