Specializing in unobtrusive background music for your function, both are Berklee College of Music alumni. Individually Two Guys In A Corner have performed around the world with many famous musicians (Dizzy Gillespie, Paula Cole, Joe Williams, Clark Terry). They have also written and recorded music used on major TV network shows (Oprah, The Biggest Loser, JAG, Howie Do It)!

Two Guys In A Corner bassist was born and raised in Bridgeport Connecticut, he began formal musical studies on drums at age seven and organ at age 13, before turning to the electric bass full-time at age 14. He would continue his studies throughout high school, mastering a wide range of solo and ensemble styles, including rock, funk and jazz, with influences as far-reaching as KISS, Van Halen, Parliament-Funkadelic, and Miles Davis.
He then went on to study at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston as a Performance major and graduated in 1986. He has since forged a career as diverse as his musical background, performing with an eclectic group of world renown R&B, jazz and rock artists that includes Dizzy Gillespie, Spin Doctors, Maxwell, Maysa, Paula Cole, Joe Williams, Clark Terry, Joe Henderson, Digable Planets, Gil Scott-Heron, Aaron Neville, Tavares, Alyson Williams, Patti Rothberg, Walter Beasley, N'Dea Davenport, Phil Perry, Chuck Loeb and Kim Waters. Other extensive gigs of note include several years as musical director for the multi-platinum Brian McKnight, and extensive tenures with Will Downing, Mica Paris and Ivan Neville.
Two Guys In A Corner bio
Originally from Southington Connecticut Two Guys In A Corner guitarist started guitar lessons at age nine. After studying guitar through high school, he moved to Boston in 1980 to attend the Berklee College of Music. Graduating Cum Laude in 1984, he was a founding member and leader of what would turn out to be one of Boston's most successful local acts ever, 'High Function'. With High Function, he played extensively at clubs and colleges throughout the New England area. Other performance experience's included a three-week tour of Switzerland, appearances in New York City, recording an eight-song album in Chicago, and performing in a marketing film produced by the Bose Corporation.
After leaving High Function, he went on to co-find and play guitar in the Boston based R&B band 'Universal Language'. Another very popular local group, nominated for a Boston Music award each year of their existence (and winning once), Universal Language credits include performances in the Boston Garden, Fleet Center, and at The House of Blues. He was also the Co-Executive Producer of their CD entitled 'One People'; a release well received on the local music scene.
In addition to playing with the bands, this guitarist was teaching himself the art of recording and composition. As a composer using his home studio, he has licensed original music for NBC, ABC and CBS television, including the shows "Oprah," "Howie Do It," "The Biggest Loser," "Martha Stewart," "Kath and Kim," "JAG," and "One Life To Live" among many others. !
