Columbus Polka Band 1

This Columbus Polka Band is a German/Polka/Variety band with a wide variety of entertaining music for festivals and Oktoberfests, dances, parties, banquets, and corporate events. Music styles include big band, dixieland, swing, waltzes, show tunes, ethnic music, German music, polkas, as well as older country and blue grass tunes.

The awesome sound of this Columbus Polka Band is created by combining a 5-row button box style accordion with the latest Austrian Limex with a piano accordion. With the Limex, they can create sounds from tubas, to banjo, to piano, violins, steel drums, to even Alp horns, chimes, and even a yodeler!

This duo creates the full sound of a much larger band, but they also perform as a 3 or 4 piece band by adding a trumpet player/singer and drummer. They have authentic German costumes and are able to modify the costumes in order to create a more Slovenian or Polish look. This Columbus Polka Band also has audience participation songs and dances which are fun for all ages.
