Originally from western Nebraska, he has called cities like Toronto, Boston, St. Louis, Omaha, and now Portland home. His mastery of twelve- and six-string guitars complements his rich baritone voice, delivering intricate melodies, evocative stories, and moments of humor.

Throughout his career, he has performed in a variety of venues, from prestigious concert halls and festival stages to intimate coffeehouses. Festival appearances include the Kerrville Folk Festival, Napa Valley Music Festival, Sister’s Folk Festival, and Juan De Fuca Festival in Port Angeles, Washington, among dozens more.

His music has earned national recognition, representing Nebraska at the National Arts Council conferences in 1994 and 1995. In 1994, he headlined a concert series with the Omaha Symphony Orchestra, performing his compositions with full orchestral arrangements to enthusiastic audiences.
