This New York Mariachi group has had the pleasure to perform for the following clients: The President of Mexico, the Mexican Tourism Board in New York and New York City Hall. They have also performed for schools, colleges, libraries, churches, weddings, sweet sixteens and TV shows.
New York Mariachi leader
The leader of this New York Mariachi group is fortunate of being an interpreter of Mariachi music. He inherited this art form from his father, so it is a family affair. He remembers when he started playing guitar and was singing famous Mariachi songs. His father helped him since he was 8 years old.
When he was 20 years old, the leader of this Mariachi group came to the United States where he got the opportunity to know more about Mariachi while playing this form of music with other musicians.
New York Mariachi growth
At the beginning, he was playing with only 2 musicians in a Mexican restaurant. When his level raised, he started to play in private parties and he added two more musicians. Then, he created his full New York Mariachi group.
