Denver Opera Singer 2
This Denver Opera Singer recently earned a MM in Vocal Performance at The University of Colorado-Boulder and was a recipient of the Barbara Doscher Vocal Scholarship as well as a Mu Phi Epsilon Scholarship. Recently she was a finalist in the NATS Colorado-Wyoming district competition. She has been the recipient of a Judge's Encouragement Award in the Seattle District Metropolitan Opera Council Auditions and has also won first place in the Coeur d'Alene Young Artist Competition.

During her undergraduate work at Pacific Lutheran University where she earned a BM in Vocal Performance, this Denver Opera Singer performed the roles of Adele in Die Fledermaus and Miss Wordsworth in Albert Herring. She has also performed the role of Pamina in The Magic Flute with The Astoria Music Festival in Astoria, Oregon. At CU-Boulder she performed the roles of Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi, Nannetta in Falstaff and Amy in Little Women.
Denver Opera Singer credits
Last summer, this Denver Opera Singer had the rare opportunity to workshop the role of Mrs. Whatsit in Act 1 of Libby Larsen's new operatic adaptation of the literary work, A Wrinkle in Time. Shortly after that, she was an Apprentice Artist with Ash Lawn Opera in Virginia for the summer. Earlier this fall she premiered the role of Margaret in The Clever Artifice of Harriet and Margaret and recently performed the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute with Boulder Opera Company.
She can be seen frequently performing around the Denver metro area with groups such as the Littleton Symphony and the Boulder Philharmonic. While her specialty is in operatic singing, this Denver Opera Singer also sings musical theatre and some jazz.
