Los Angeles Classic Rock Band 2

This Los Angeles Classic Rock Band was formed by the leader of the band. He has been playing in bands in California, New York, and New England for 40 years. His musical career started when he saw The Beatles perform on the Ed Sullivan show on February 9, 1964. Captivated with The Beatles and their music, he performed Beatle songs with several successful bands at venues in New York and New England. He had the great fortune to meet John, Yoko, and Ringo at John Lennon's 31st birthday party in New York, and on a separate occasion met Paul McCartney at a fund raising performance in Los Angeles.

A recipient of a MacDowell Arts Colony Fellowship, the leader of this Los Angeles Classic Rock Band is a classically trained musician. As a voice and theory and composition major, he studied at and graduated from The Hartford Conservatory of Music and California Institute of the Arts. He has worked with The Isley Brothers, Richie Havens, and Harriet Schock. As a composer, he composed the music to the Academy Award winning film, Molly’s Pilgrim, the PBS Special, More Than Broken Glass - Memories of Kristallnacht, and I Am Not A Freak.

The band is comprised of four professional musicians who play guitars, keyboards, saxophones, bass, and drums. He is the lead vocalist with backup vocals provided by the other band members. This Los Angeles Classic Rock Band performs mostly Beatle songs along with other classic rock songs and the blues.
