New York Rock Band 1
This New York Rock Band is a power trio based in New York City. Compared to such acts as Radiohead, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots and Failure, they embrace the quintessential elements of 90’s abrasive alternative grunge while imposing innovative aggressive experimentalism. They are grounded in post industrial grunge rock and merged with the sonic rush of crushing volume and melodic moodiness. The self-assured songwriting and the lead singer's angst ridden lyrics convey compelling images of alienation and introspection. Beautiful melodies never sounded so scared.
New York Rock Band members
The lead singer and guitarist of this New York Rock Band began his music career in 1996 at the age of 13, when he and Matthew Pop formed Jet Orange. His unorthodox approach to the guitar; inspired by classical guitar; sans class; provides this band with its multilayered sound. He has been in such bands as Jet Orange, Spitter, Monster Christ, Fin until 2008 when he and the drummer formed the band.
The drummer, left his home country of Venezuela hell bent on drumming for an American rock band. He paid his dues in the NYC rock scene playing with such acts as Derailed, Defect, & the New Professionals. His persistence and dedication paid off when he met the lead singer in early 2008. The pair immediately recognized the potential of the fiery melodic music that they were producing and in the summer of 2009, this New York Rock Band booked a European tour spanning 6 countries.

September of 2010 saw many huge developments for the group. The bands multimedia website was launched and they celebrated the release of their debut album with a special performance at NYC’s Webster Hall. Currently, this New York Rock Band is in the process of booking West Coast tour in support of their debut album.
