San Francisco Variety Band 5
This San Francisco Variety Band is the Bay Area's most versatile music ensemble. By combining the talents of some of the finest vocalists and multi-instrumentalists in the area, they are able to excel at a variety of musical styles including Motown, Rock, Pop, Top-40, Swing, Jazz, Latin and Classical.
The leader of this San Francisco Variety Band conceived the band in 1980. He thought of the idea of a self-contained band which would feature outstanding male and female vocalists supported by professional instrumentalists. This band would be able to play all styles and entertain a wide variety of audiences. The size of the band could also be flexible depending on the specific needs of the client.

Since this San Francisco Variety Band has been together, they have played extensively in the Bay Area, from Santa Rosa to Monterey, and from San Francisco to Concord. They have played at hotels, wineries and country clubs including the Fairmont, the Saint Francis, Silverado Country Club, Meadowood Country Club, Thomas Fogarty and Clos-du-Bois Wineries. This San Francisco Variety Band has played for weddings, conventions, wine-tastings, bar mitzvahs and have been the featured group for New Year's Eve at such hotels as the Ritz-Carlton and the Park-Hyatt in San Francisco.

A state of the art sound system enables this San Francisco Variety Band to set up quickly and allows the vocals of all the members of the band to be heard without undue volume levels. The band can play at very low levels for dinner music, or at higher volumes for larger venues.
