About Dallas Mariachi
Formed in 1993, Dallas Mariachi 3 has been delivering high-quality mariachi music to the Dallas and Fort Worth area for over 15 years. Dedicated to professionalism and excellence, this group won 1st place in the Mariachi Espectacular Competition in Albuquerque, NM in 2003, hosted by Jose Hernandez, Musical Director of Mariachi Sol de Mexico. This victory helped solidify their reputation as one of the leading mariachi bands in North Texas.
In 2006, Dallas Mariachi collaborated with the Fort Worth Symphony to record “Ella” by Jose Alfredo Jimenez, featuring DECCA© Records recording artist and tenor Juan Diego Florez on his album Sentimiento Latino. This album celebrates the music of Latin America, and Dallas Mariachi’s performance contributed to its authenticity and acclaim.
