I have been working with business and professional coaches for almost 20 years. Each one has brought various strengths, but only Diana Rowan had the whole package. I needed business coach who was also a musician and a harpist. I needed a harp coach who understood the mechanics of having a thriving harp-based business.
In just a few short months, Diana helped me get organized, set realistic goals and put structure in place to keep me on track.
At the same time, she opened doors that I had kept closed, gently pushing me to embrace a bigger vision of my music and myself.
Having the Harp Ecosystem – a group of like-minded women – has been enormously helpful and very different. Most coaches I have worked with provide only one-on-one coaching. But Diana’s “sangha” approach – building group support is new and completely refreshing. I no longer feel I am working alone in a silo.
Diana’s knowledge of technique is unique among harp teachers. She was able to immediately identify posture problems that I had struggled with for years. She was able to correct some of my technical problems, and get me playing more fluidly and with more ease.
I also enjoy our composition conversations where I can ask questions about phrasing, spelling, jazz chords and world music, and always get an engaging and interesting answer.
Having Diana on my side has given me the support I have needed to try new things, and it’s giving me the freedom to grow as a musician much more quickly than if I were working alone.
